The Opioid Morbidity and Mortality Surveillance Program is funded by the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control within CDC and is a supplement under TECPHI. The goal of this program is to produce data products with up to date and emerging information on fatal and non-fatal overdose and provide training and technical assistance to Tribes across the Great Plains Area to build capacity for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of overdose data.
Services Offered:
- Provide epidemiological support and technical assistance to Tribes on drug overdoses
- Provide training to Tribes related to data collection, overdose data sources, data use, and data sharing
- Provide evaluation support and technical assistance to Tribes on drug overdose activities
